Terms and Conditions

1. For the purpose of these Terms, the term "Platform" shall include the website, mobile application, software, databases, systems, features, services, and all related technology operated under the name Start Your Story. The term "Firm" shall mean NEXTSTEP SOLUTIONS, its partners, employees, representatives, successors, affiliates, and permitted assigns. The term "User" shall include any student, professional, recruiter, CA firm, creator, advertiser, freelancer, coaching institute, or any person accessing or using the Platform in any manner.

2. The Platform is intended to provide recruitment support, articleship opportunities, career enhancement, professional networking, creator collaboration, branding support, professional visibility, advertisement services, LinkedIn branding support, finance-related content services, and related digital services for the finance, accounting, taxation, audit, compliance, and professional services ecosystem.

3. Users accessing the Platform represent and warrant that they are legally capable of entering into binding agreements and that all information provided by them shall be true, genuine, accurate, lawful, and complete. Users shall use the Platform only for lawful and professional purposes.

4. Users may register on the Platform under categories including students, professionals, recruiters, firms, creators, freelancers, advertisers, coaching institutes, or any category introduced by the Firm. Users shall be solely responsible for maintaining confidentiality of their login credentials and all activities conducted through their accounts.

5. Users agree that all profiles, resumes, educational details, professional details, work samples, advertisements, and information uploaded on the Platform shall be genuine and non-misleading. The Firm does not independently verify all information and therefore does not guarantee authenticity of users, recruiters, firms, advertisements, opportunities, or services.

6. The Platform may provide recruitment services, candidate filtering tools, interview scheduling features, professional networking, creator marketplace services, advertisement services, promotional services, analytics, branding support, LinkedIn content support, finance-related content services, subscription services, and other related digital services.

7. The Platform may display advertisements, sponsored posts, promotional banners, coaching class advertisements, educational institution promotions, featured listings, and branding content. The Firm reserves the right to approve, reject, modify, suspend, or remove any advertisement without prior notice or assigning any reason.

8. Certain features of the Platform may require paid subscriptions. Subscriptions may include access to candidate databases, recruiter tools, creator services, premium visibility, analytics, branding features, and related services. Subscriptions shall be intended solely for the registered subscriber and shall not be transferable without written permission of the Firm.

9. All subscription fees, advertisement charges, promotional charges, and service fees shall ordinarily be payable in advance unless otherwise agreed. Payments once made shall generally be non-refundable unless expressly specified otherwise. Applicable taxes including GST shall additionally apply wherever required.

10. All databases, user records, reports, analytics, software, source code, algorithms, systems, structures, layouts, trademarks, logos, and all Platform-related information shall remain the exclusive property of the Firm. No ownership rights shall transfer to users merely through use of the Platform.

11. Users shall not copy, scrape, reproduce, distribute, extract, transfer, sell, download, publish, or commercially exploit Platform data without prior written permission of the Firm. Use of bots, crawlers, spiders, automation tools, AI extraction systems, or unauthorized access mechanisms is strictly prohibited.

12. The Platform may allow content writers, LinkedIn creators, graphic designers, carousel designers, ghost writers, branding creators, finance researchers, and freelancers to provide services to firms and businesses. The Firm only acts as an intermediary platform and does not guarantee work allocation, payments, project continuity, or business outcomes.

13. Users shall use the Platform lawfully, responsibly, and professionally and shall not upload false information, impersonate others, violate intellectual property rights, misuse confidential information, engage in spam, or conduct unlawful activities.

14. Users shall not reverse engineer the Platform, attempt unauthorized access, upload malware, interfere with Platform systems, manipulate data, conduct unauthorized marketing, misuse user information, or use Platform information for competing businesses or external commercial purposes.

15. The Firm only facilitates interaction between users and does not guarantee job placement, articleship confirmation, interview calls, recruitment success, salary outcomes, creator assignments, or any professional result arising from use of the Platform.

16. Information available on the Platform shall not constitute legal, accounting, tax, investment, employment, or professional advice. Users are advised to obtain independent professional consultation wherever necessary.

17. All trademarks, trade names, logos, graphics, software, layouts, databases, branding materials, source code, and intellectual property relating to the Platform shall belong exclusively to the Firm unless otherwise expressly stated in writing.

18. Users uploading content on the Platform grant the Firm a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, publish, distribute, promote, and use such content for operation, marketing, and promotion of the Platform.

19. Users acknowledge that certain information may be visible to other users depending on Platform functionality. Users shall maintain confidentiality of business, operational, technical, and user-related information obtained through the Platform and shall not misuse such information.

20. Users authorize the Firm to communicate through email, SMS, WhatsApp, notifications, phone calls, or other electronic means regarding account updates, service announcements, advertisements, promotions, verification, and related communication.

21. The Platform may contain links, advertisements, integrations, or references relating to third-party websites, coaching classes, businesses, institutions, or service providers. The Firm shall not be responsible for third-party services, content, conduct, transactions, or damages arising therefrom.

22. The Platform and all services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Firm does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, security, reliability, accuracy, suitability, or error-free operation of the Platform or services.

23. The Firm shall not be liable for recruitment failures, business losses, loss of opportunities, service interruptions, technical failures, hacking incidents, unauthorized access, data loss, or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

24. Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Firm, its partners, employees, representatives, and affiliates against all claims, losses, liabilities, legal expenses, disputes, or damages arising from violation of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, or infringement of third-party rights.

25. The Firm reserves the right to suspend, terminate, restrict, remove, or disable any account, listing, advertisement, subscription, profile, or access without prior notice in case of violation of these Terms, suspicious conduct, fraudulent activity, misuse of data, or unauthorized sharing of subscriptions.

26. The Firm reserves the right to verify identity, qualifications, contact details, advertisements, business information, educational details, or other information submitted on the Platform. Failure to provide satisfactory verification may result in suspension or rejection of accounts.

27. The Firm reserves the right to monitor user activities, advertisements, uploads, communications, profiles, listings, and Platform usage for security, operational, legal, quality, and compliance purposes.

28. The Firm may remove, edit, reject, suspend, restrict, or disable any content, advertisement, communication, profile, listing, or material which it considers unlawful, misleading, suspicious, harmful, defamatory, abusive, inappropriate, or contrary to Platform policies.

29. Use of the Platform shall not create any employer-employee relationship, partnership, agency, franchise, fiduciary relationship, or joint venture between the Firm and users.

30. These Terms and all electronic records, communications, agreements, notices, transactions, and approvals conducted electronically shall be legally valid and enforceable under applicable laws relating to electronic records and digital communication.

31. The Firm may temporarily suspend or restrict access to the Platform for maintenance, upgrades, operational improvements, emergency reasons, security checks, or technical issues without prior notice.

32. While the Firm undertakes reasonable security measures, users acknowledge that internet transmissions and electronic storage systems may not be completely secure and the Firm shall not guarantee absolute protection against hacking, cyberattacks, unauthorized access, data theft, or technical breaches.

33. Users shall communicate professionally and lawfully while interacting through the Platform. Harassment, abuse, spam, threatening behavior, misleading communication, or unlawful solicitation through the Platform is strictly prohibited.

34. Users may report fake profiles, fraudulent activities, intellectual property violations, suspicious conduct, misleading advertisements, abuse, or misuse of the Platform to the Firm for review and appropriate action.

35. Display of advertisements, promotional content, sponsored listings, coaching class advertisements, or featured posts on the Platform shall not constitute endorsement, recommendation, verification, or guarantee by the Firm regarding such advertisers or services.

36. Payments between firms, recruiters, creators, freelancers, advertisers, or users shall remain solely between such parties unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by the Firm. The Firm shall not be liable for payment disputes, delays, non-payments, or project-related disagreements.

37. Recruiters and firms using the Platform shall ensure that job postings, advertisements, articleship opportunities, communications, and professional interactions are genuine, lawful, accurate, and non-misleading and shall not misuse candidate data or confidential information obtained through the Platform.

38. Students, applicants, and candidates shall provide genuine academic, personal, and professional details and shall not impersonate any person, falsify qualifications, upload misleading information, or misuse recruiter information obtained through the Platform.

39. The Firm reserves the right to impose reasonable restrictions on searches, downloads, communications, advertisements, profile views, subscriptions, or Platform usage to ensure fair usage, operational efficiency, and system stability.

40. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably, failing which such disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over such matters.

41. The Firm reserves the right to modify, revise, update, or replace these Terms at any time. Continued usage of the Platform after such modifications shall constitute acceptance of revised Terms.

42. These Terms together with related policies, notices, and guidelines issued by the Firm shall constitute the complete agreement between users and the Firm relating to use of the Platform and supersede prior communications or understandings.

43. By accessing, browsing, registering, subscribing, advertising, or using the Platform in any manner, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
